The Conn-Selmer Prelude Alto saxophone is an excellent device at a bargain cost. Craftsmanship on this particular saxophone is superlative, above other similarly priced instruments by less reputable manufacturers. The keys are firm, in a great way. The tone is warm & even throughout the whole range, clear, a bit this side of bright. One time you hold the device & play it for the first time, its obvious that the Conn-Selmer Prelude Alto is a well engineered saxophone in the custom that is associated with those great companies. Everything about this device exalts attention to detail & quality at an affordable cost. Highly recommended.
