I was looking for the pre Amp for my microphone to do do voice over video and found this USB microphone from Audio technica. So I did not must buy the preamp . plug it to the USB port then you go. It was simple to make use of and noise floor quiet, it does not record the fan noise from your computer or the background noise in the recording room, happy with the acquisition.

I've had this condenser microphone for about a month now and it's suited my purposes well. I needed something to record podcasts with and do some voiceover work as well. I do my recording with Audacity, and the microphone was imediately recognized and basically installed as my primary microphone for Audacity. It is a sensitive mic, and I had to build a small "porta-booth"to reduce the echo in the room where I record, but could get nice clear recording after that. I recomend using a pop filter with this microphone to help reduce "S" & "P" sybillance. All in all, an excellent microphone for the cost.

The Conn-Selmer Prelude Alto saxophone is an excellent device at a bargain cost. Craftsmanship on this particular saxophone is superlative, above other similarly priced instruments by less reputable manufacturers. The keys are firm, in a great way. The tone is warm & even throughout the whole range, clear, a bit this side of bright. One time you hold the device & play it for the first time, its obvious that the Conn-Selmer Prelude Alto is a well engineered saxophone in the custom that is associated with those great companies. I played trumpet for years in high school and college, and I had an elderly Doc Severinsen model that I had a crystal clear pretty sound with. Several years ago, I bought an cheap trumpet and it sounded like rubbish. I have decided to get back in to playing again. Based on the reviews, I decided to go "cheap" and try this. By "cheap" I mean as compared to the $500+ I could spend on what I knew would be a top quality tool.

The other users are right on target about the valves being turned comic in the chambers, but that is simple to fix. Basically unscrew the tops of each valve chamber (not the stem itself), and turn them until they click. When seated properly, air ought to be able to be blown freely through the trumpet with all the valves up. If not, basically try turning them again. With a nice eye you can line up the holes in the valves with the trumpet.

The trumpet ships with valve oil, and the slides are clearly well greased and prepared for action. I took it out of the case, adjusted the valves as noted, blew through it for about two minutes to warm it up, and then produced a sound equivalent to my pretty elderly Doc Severinsen. The valves work basically, the slides slide gracefully, and the most important piece is the sound quality is amazing.

As if all that wasn't , I ordered the item, and it was on my doorstep within three business days.

In the event you have a youngster beginning out, or are getting back in to it like I am, or require a nice concert quality trumpet without spending a thousand dollars, this is the horn for you!

Fast and Comfortable Rounded Neck Profile
Gibson's traditional rounded neck profile (which graces the neck of each Les Paul Studio Faded) is a thicker, rounder profile, emulating the neck shapes of the iconic Les Paul Standards of the late 1950s. Each neck is machined in Gibson's rough mill using wood shapers to make the initial cuts. But once the fingerboard gets glued on, the rest--including the final sanding--is done by hand. That means each neck ends up with ever-so-subtle differences that make each one as exceptional and unique as the next.
Gibson's Burstbucker Pro Pickups
Gibson's drive to recapture the magic of the original "Patent Applied For" humbucker pickups of the 1950s culminated with the introduction of the Burstbucker line in the early 1990s. Those Burstbuckers--Types 1, 2, and 3--successfully captured the subtle variations of true, classic humbucker tone with historically "unmatched" bobbin windings and Alnico II magnets.
In 2002, Gibson followed this innovative accomplishment with yet another breakthrough in pickup design--the Burstbucker Pro, designed specifically for the new Les Paul Standards. The Burstbucker Pro features an Alnico V magnet (instead of the Alnico II), which gives you slightly higher output and allows preamps to be driven a little harder to achieve a more natural break-up. Like all Burstbuckers, the Burstbucker Pro has asymmetrical coils true to the original PAFs, which supply a more open sound.
The Burstbucker Pro Neck is wound slightly less than the original PAFs, while the Burstbucker Pro Bridge is slightly overwound for increased output. The Burstbucker Pro pickups are also wax potted to allow loud volume pressures with minimal feedback. As with all Gibson pickups, every part is precisely manufactured at Gibson USA in Nashville, Tennessee, insuring tight, seamless fittings, and superior workmanship.
